The Chairman of the National Population Commission, NPC, Alh. Nasir Isa Kwara has said the Commission might embark on a Census enumeration exercise or proclamation by next year pending when he gets the nod of Mr. President to announce the date officially.
He gave the disclosure during the Commission visit to the Independent National Electoral Commission Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu at the national headquarters in Abuja.
“We are already establishing a national framework for the conduct of Census and surveys and continuous birth and death regulations throughout the country”

“At the end of the entire exercise, we are preparing to go for Census next year, once we get the nod of Mr. President”, he said.
