A man identified as Ibrahim Salisu has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly killing his brother, Malaimi Yellow, over an alleged sexual demand.
According to report, the incident occurred in araromi street, Sango-Ota area, around 11:00 p.m. on Friday.
The police reported that the 54-year-old Malaimi Yellow had been allegedly pestering his younger brother for sex.
In response to Yellow’s incessant demands, Salisu reportedly drew out a machete and ended his brother’s life.
The spokesperson for the command, Odutola Omolola, confirmed the incident in an interview on Sunday.
Omolola stated that Yellow’s body had been recovered and deposited at the Ifo general hospital mortuary for an autopsy.
Salisu has confessed to the crime, telling the police that he killed his brother because he kept disturbing him for sex.
“He has confessed to the crime. He told our men, who arrested him, that he killed his brother because he kept disturbing him for sex.
“His case will soon be transferred once the preliminary investigation is completed,” Odutola said.
