The Governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo, has appointed National Vice Chairman (South-South] of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Dan Osi Orbih as Chairman of the Governing Council of the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.
This was announced in a statement by Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq, Secretary to the State Government.
According to Ikhilor, the appointment takes effect from December 31st, 2025.
It read: “It is hereby announced for the information of the General Public that the Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo has approved the reconstitution of the Goverming Council, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.
“The Members are:
i. Chief Daniel Osikheme Orbih- Chairman
ii. Martins Osakwe- Member
iii. Prof. Steve Amiemenkharu Iyayi- Member
iv. Hon. Lukman Muhammad- Member
v. Prof. Idialu Jeremiah Uwaifo- Member
vi. Prof. Eric Kelly Inanemo Omogbai- Member
vii. Prof. Omoruyi Ikponmwonse Osahon – Member”
