Betty Akeredolu, wife of late Ondo governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has slammed her deceased husband’s niece, Funke Akeredolu, for supporting his successor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
ThisNigeria reports that governor Akeredolu died of prostate cancer in Germany, at the age of 67.
Aiyedatiwa, who was his deputy, was subsequently sworn in on December 27, 2023 as the executive governor of Ondo State.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, Mrs Betty slammed Funke for throwing her weight behind governor Aiyedatiwa.
Posting her picture, Betty wrote “Behold the face of Aketi’s niece, Funke Akeredolu Aruna, the former deputy chief protocol to Aketi, shamelessly parades as ‘I am lucky’ Bloody serpent! Time will tell if she is truly lucky!”
