
Governor of Ondo State and All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu was engaged in an election debate.
He appeared on Channels Television’s show, Politics Today, anchored by Seun Okinbaloye and discussed why he wants to be re-elected.
He says that the electorate should re-elect him to sustain what his administration has already built.
Speaking about his plans for the first 100 days in office, he says that he will finish roads under construction and construct new roads. He also says that other projects his administration started will be completed in the first 100 days.
On his part, Peoples Democratic Candidate Eyitayo Jegede said that he will reform the health and education sectors in the state.
“Things are not going too well in the state. If elected I will make things work properly. I know the challenges in the health sector, I will fix it.
“The education sector needs to be reformed. When this administration entered, it increased school fees from N35,000 to N150,000. This is too much for the people and I will fix it if elected. I will bring new ideas and fresh ideas to improve things in Ondo state,” Jegede said.
