Organisation trains 170 people on agribusiness in Benue, Plateau states

A private organization, Xploits Consulting Ltd. on Friday, said it had trained 170 Nigerians on agribusiness, fish, and snail farming, in Benue and Plateau States.
Mrs. Grace Taiwo, Communications Director of the organization, made this known in an interview with newsmen in Abuja.
Taiwo said that the organization trained about 86 people in Makurdi and Otukpo local government areas (LGAs) and 84 people in Jos North and Jos South LGAs.
She said the objective of the training was to improve the livelihood of the people, adding that the effort would help alleviate poverty in the country.
Taiwo added that the training would contribute to the ongoing efforts targeted at diversification of the Nigerian economy by igniting the beneficiaries’ interest in agribusiness.
She said that the agribusiness training was facilitated by Xploits Consulting Ltd with support from Access Bank Plc.
Taiwo said beneficiaries were trained on computer literacy, internet safety and responsibility, use of Microsoft office suite, social media marketing, and website development, among others.
She said that the training took place in Abaji Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, Karu, and Keffi local government areas of Nasarawa.
“Our organizations also trained people on multi-purpose soap making, beads making, make-up and tying of ladies headgear, in Bwari, Kwali and Kuje, all in the FCT.
