Victor Osimhen will only play for ‘two teams’, with UEFA Champions League football as one of the deciding factors in the next phase of his career, former Napoli star Salvatore Gani has revealed.
Osimhen is currently one of the most sought-after strikers and is currently on the radar of many top clubs around Europe. The Nigerian goal scorer scored 26 goals in Serie A Football last season and was instrumental in his side’s title-winning charge.
Speaking on Osimhen’s possible move, Gani, said the Nigerian international will either head to Manchester United or Real Madrid as his next club, despite strong interest from Liverpool, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.
“Victor Osimhen won’t return to France because he already played there,” Gani told Tutto Napoli, as per SNL24.
“He doesn’t go to Liverpool or Chelsea because they do not play in the Champions League.
“Of all of the teams associated with him, for me, he would only go to Manchester United and Real Madrid. He’s not interested in the other teams.”
