Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has called out the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for failing to issue a Certificate of Return to his uncle and Osun state Governor-elect, Senator Ademola Adeleke 48hrs after the governorship election.

The singer made the call on Twitter on Tuesday.

“48hrs after our @AAdeleke_01 victory at the Osun Gubernatorial elections, we are yet to receive our certificate.

“Please no one should tamper with the will of the Osun People!

“Issue the certificate as required by Law!”. he tweeted.

ThisNigeria reported that Adeleke defeated the incumbent governor and All Progressives Congress candidate, Gboyega Oyetola at the July 16 election held in the state.
