
Ottasolo FC on Tuesday put up a great show to beat difficult EKSU Galaticos 1-0 to boost their chances of picking the sole ticket in Kwara.
The 2020/2021 Nationwide League One (NLO) match Day 9 playoff encounter was played at the Kwara Stadium Complex, Ilorin.
Samuel Ogunjimi put Ottasolo ahead in the 33rd minute with a cool finish to creat a 2-point lead on the log ahead of Remo Stars, which have 13 points from 5 games in 2nd position.
In the other match, Seat of God FC of Kaduna had their prayers answered as they battered Hammola International FC 3-0 at the Kwara Football Academy (KFA) pitch centre.
Benedict Adikwu opened the scoring for Seat of God when the attacker latched onto Hammola goalkeeper’s error and calmly slotted home the first goal.
With four minutes before the end of match, Taofik Ahmad made it 2-0 in a spectacular fashion after a beautiful team play.
On the dot of 90 minute, again Ahmad dribbled past his markers, then set up Christian Onigwe and the striker made no mistake in putting the ball at the back of the net.

In the other match at KFA, it was a fight to finish between KJ United FC of Kaduna and Vet Rovers FC of Vom, Plateau, as the match ended in a 5-goal thriller.
It was Bitrus Paul who drew the first blood in the 11th minute to put KJ United ahead.
Vet Rovers’ replied four minutes later via Valentine Eze, who scored from a goal-mouth scrambling to even the scores.
Paul completed his brace from the spot in the 40th minute of play to restore KJ United’s lead.
Ade Azeez help KJ United put the icing on the cake in the 78th minute to make 3-0 after a nice build up by the Kaduna based side.
Uche Chidozie reduced the tally for Vet Rovers in the 81th minute to put the game beyond them.
Remo Stars will face Ottasolo FC in the last group game match at the Kwara Stadium Complex, Ilorin centre.
