The Ntoe-in-Council of Nkonib (Ikot Ansa) Qua Clan has lauded the Governor of Cross River State, Bassey Otu, for what it described as purposeful and inclusive leadership in the last three years.
The group said the administration of Otu has restored public confidence in governance and inspired renewed hope among residents through reforms and developmental initiatives across key sectors of the state economy.
The commendation was contained in a statement issued by the Clan Head, HRH Ntoe Paul Assim Ita, and the General Secretary, Ntufam Francis Effiom, to mark the governor’s third anniversary in office.
According to the statement, “Your administration’s efforts in revamping critical sectors of the economy, improving infrastructure, promoting peace and security, and restoring public confidence in governance have continued to inspire hope among the people.”
The Qua Clan particularly praised the governor’s inclusive leadership style, saying it had continued to unite Cross Riverians across political, ethnic and social divides.
“We particularly commend your passion for development and your inclusive style of leadership which has continued to unite the people of Cross River State across political, ethnic and social lines,” the statement added.
The council also congratulated Governor Otu on his emergence as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 governorship election.
It described the development as a reflection of the confidence and trust reposed in his leadership by the party faithful and the state’s residents.
“This victory is a clear testament to the confidence and trust reposed in your leadership by party faithful and the good people of the state,” the statement stated.
The Qua Clan further prayed for wisdom, strength, sound health and divine guidance for the governor as he continues to lead the state.
