The Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been thrown into mourning following the death of its chairman, Ajiboye Omodewu.
The chairman died in the United States in the early hours of Monday.
His death was confirmed by the Publicity Secretary of APC in the state, Wasiu Olawale Sadare.
In a telephone conversation, Sadare said, “The chairman is no more. It is true that the chairman is no more.

“He died in the early hours of today in the USA.”
Omodewu served as commissioner during the tenure of the immediate past governor of Oyo state, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.
The deceased hailed from Itesiwaju local government area in the Oke Ogun geopolitical zone.
