Mr Olugbenga Fadeyi, PRO of the Oyo State Police has confirmed the re-arrest of Sunday Sodipe, the serial killer who escaped from custody on Tuesday, 11th of August, 2020.
Sunday had initially confessed to the murder of eight people within Akinyele in Ibadan. He seized the opportunity to escape when the officer who took him to bath outside was conversing with someone. According to him, he climbed the borehole pole and scaled the fence.
He also disclosed that Adedokun Yinusa Ajani, a herbalist, was the one sending him on the operations.
Details on where and how he was re-arrested have not been made public yet.
