The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has said that the Minister for Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Pantami can never change his ideology.

Kanu tweeted this in response to Pamtami’s claim that he had distanced himself from extreme Islamic ideologies.

The Minister had come under fire when an audio clip of him supporting terrorist organisations such as Al-Qaeda, Taliban, surfaced online.

Nigerians have continued to call for his resignation since the emergence of the clip where he also supported Osama Bin Laden.

Reacting, Kanu tweeted: “In case you forgot, TERRORISM is a form of #Islamic ideology, as well as a religious duty for every Muslim that believes in JIHAD.

“Therefore, there can never be anything like a repentant terrorist, not even some Minister named Isa Pantami (@DrIsaPantami). Please be guided. I am.”
