THISNIGERIA had reported that the Lagos State Government had vowed to penalize Oseni for breaking a traffic law in the state.

Rufai in a tweet on Monday had accused a police officer of pointing a gun at him, forcefully taking his keys, and driving off his car because he wanted to enforce a traffic infraction.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Lagos State Governor, Gboyega Akosile on Monday accused Rufai of being a lawbreaker and assured that he will be severely punished for his actions.

“Thank you Rufai, while the @PoliceNG deal with the police officer in their own way, we’d ensure that necessary action is taken against you for driving on BRT lane as you’ve admitted to the police.
“You’re a lawbreaker and you should face the necessary penalties”. Akosile tweeted.
