Pastor who slept with HIV-positive women makes clarification
A controversial cleric, Anthony Kahura Mwangi, known as Pastor T, has blamed bloggers for twisting his confession that he slept with HIV-positive women and remained HIV-negative.
According to him, the bloggers only chose the part that would attract views for their news platforms.
He also disclosed that the incident happened when he was in secondary school, long before he became a pastor and married his wife.
“That was a story that happened while still in high school. I have a problem with bloggers picking certain bits from my teachings just to get views.
“I have children and the context of the message I was delivering was misinterpreted because they just uploaded a small video and not the whole message.
“I was young and naive, and I did not know the dangers of sleeping around.
“I was not a Christian then, and I did not use protection. Later, some of the women I slept with came to me and told me that they were HIV-positive.
“I was scared and I went to test myself, but by the grace of God, I was negative,” he said.
