PDP BOT holds meeting with chairman Ohuabunwa, Abdurahman, Anyanwu in attendance

The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Saturday convened a crucial meeting in Abuja aimed at resolving lingering internal issues and strengthening the party’s structures nationwide.

In his opening remarks, BoT Chairman, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa, reaffirmed the commitment of the board to restoring confidence among party members and ensuring the completion of outstanding state congresses.

Ohuabunwa said the national leadership is prepared to work closely with all state chapters to deliver fresh leadership and stabilize the party across the country.

He also outlined a roadmap designed to reposition the PDP, including conducting overdue state congresses, consolidating ongoing reforms, and supporting national leaders to return the party to its core values.

He described these steps as vital to reinforcing unity, transparency, and grassroots participation.

According to him, timely congresses and a renewed focus on internal discipline will be key to rebuilding trust within the PDP and presenting a more cohesive and credible platform ahead of future elections.
