The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Prince Uche Secondus has finally escaped impeachment as Governors under the party platform gave him a soft landing.

Addressing journalists at the National Secretariat of the party, Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal said the National Convention is the only way out, hence the Planning Committee will be constituted immediately.

He also said that they agreed in the meeting that the convention will be held latest by the end of October.

“Let me say on behalf of the Governors that the Planning Committee for the party constituted immediately.

” We thank the Members of the party work this out, for your prayers for your support.

” All Nigerians who have been waiting patiently for the resolution of this issues,The Chairman and his deputy is here, all the Governors are here and the National Chairman of our party is here. To God be the Glory.
