A former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has hailed the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike for accepting the outcome of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential primary.
ThisNigeria reported that Atiku won the election which held at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja with 371 votes with Wike following closely with 237 votes.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Fayose thanked Wike for not abandoning the party when it needed him the most.

He wrote: “To my friend and brother, Gov Nyesom Wike,thank you for not abandoning the party when it needed you the most.
“For accepting the outcome of the presidential primary and also supporting the winner,you have further written your name in gold on the sands of time of politics in Nigeria.”
