Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq said this on Tuesday at the flag-off of the phased citizens’ engagement on the 2022 budget at Afon in Asa Local Government Area.
The governor, who was represented by his Deputy, Mr. Kayode Alabi, said that the democratization of the budget preparation process was in line with the global best practices of transparency and impactful budget performance as citizens contribute to budgeting.
