The Presidential Election Tribunal has fixed Wednesday, September 6 to pass judgment in the suit challenging President Bola Tinubu’s victory.
Recall that Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Peter Obi of the Labour Party had rejected the result of the Feb 25 presidential election that produced Tinubu.
It was gathered that the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal merged the petitions submitted by the various political parties while giving the pre-hearing report on the petition and presenting the trial schedule.
