PFN condemns Plateau killings

Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (P.F.N ) Plateau State Chapter, has condemned in its’ totality the incessant killings and destruction of properties in Bassa, Riyom and Jos North Local Government Areas leading to the loss of lives of innocent citizens

The Fellowship also condemns the recent unfortunate killing in Jebu Bassa and of commuters along Rukuba Road in Jos North Local Government Area which is sad, unfortunate and regrettable.

A statement by the Chairman of the Fellowship Reverend Steven Dangana sympathized with families of those who lost their loved ones as a result of these attacks and prayed to God to comfort and grant them fortitude to bear the loss.

He called for calm and restraint by all in order for Government and security agencies to restore peace and order within all the affected areas.

Reverend Dangana urged Law enforcement Agencies to double their efforts in fishing out all perpetrators of these heinous, dastardly, and unprovoked attacks without any form of bias or sentiments as nobody is above the Law.

He expressed his belief in the sanctity of lives and the right of everyone to live, travel, and transact their business in peace and noted the commitment of the Fellowship to working with government and security Agencies for the sustenance of peace and peaceful co-existence of all.

 

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria in the State also pledged to work with other Religious bodies & various Security Agencies to ensure that the message of peace, tolerance, and forbearance with one another is demonstrated among its adherence.

Reverend Dangana emphasised that they will continue to seek the face of God through continuous prayers for peace and unity in Plateau State and the Country at Large.
