A truck transporting alcohol fell into a ditch close to Hisbah office at the Kumbotso Local Government area of Kano State.
According to reports, the accident, which left the driver with injuries, occurred on the evening of November 16th.
Spokesperson of the Kano State Hisbah Board, Ibrahim Lawan Fagge confirmed the incident and said their operatives had been targeting the truck’s movement for a while.
Fagge said that the driver of the truck had been camouflaging the truck as a security truck while using it to convey alcohol to some parts of the state.
He added that the truck had been seized and all the bottles had been packed from the scene of the accident to their office.
