Plateau Police Command has paraded a 20-year-old man Moses Oko, who is the suspected killer of a 300 level female student of the University of Jos (UNIJOS) who was found dead in a hotel with both eyes plucked out in Jos.
The victim, identified as Jennifer Anthony, was earlier declared missing on December 31, 2021, until found dead in the pool of her blood on January Ist 2022.
Parading the suspect before newsmen in Jos, the Plateau Police Commissioner Bartholomew Onyeka said sequel to the gruesome murder of Miss Jennifer Anthony, a man named Moses Oko suspected to be her boyfriend who fled after committing the crime, the Command in a bid to arrest the perpetrator launched an aggressive manhunt on the suspect and tactically trailed h to Benue state where he was arrested by Hawked eye police operatives of the command.
The CP added that the suspect would be arraigned in court as soon as the investigation is completed.

CP Bartholomew further added that on the 24th of November 2021 at about 7 .20 hours, while acting on a tip-off, the command surveillance team attached to A Division raided a criminal hideout at Gada Biu, where a wanted cultist on the Police list, one Jessy Wakili was arrested alongside his syndicates.
The CP further said that men of the command recently rescued some kidnapped victims in the state.
In his words ” Following the cases of abduction of one Mrs. Tabitha Silas Vem, wife of the deputy chief of staff to Plateau state government house and one Dr. Samuel Audu of Barkin Ladi area of the state, the combined team of the police acted swiftly and rescued the victims.
He also said that Men of the command recently arrested an armed robbery suspect and recovered a locally made pistol in Gada Biu.
“On the 27th of December 2021, at about 15 30 hours while on routine vehicular Patrol along with Mista Ali Village Bassa LGA, Police patrol team of the command arrested one Emmanuel Isaac aged 25 years with two locally made pistols and one ammunition.
The CP added that the case is under investigation and suspects will be charged to court as soon as the investigation is completed.
