One of the parents of the pupils of the Salihu Tanko Islamiyya school where over 150 pupils were abducted last Sunday, May 30, has died.
This was disclosed by the principal of the school, Abubakar Hassan today
Hassan said the bandits contacted him and asked for N300 million and later agreed that we should pay 100 million nairas.
According to Arise, Abubakar said when the bandits contacted him, he appealed to them to allow him to speak with one of the three teachers who were abducted alongside the students, having spoken to students, one of the teachers said the children are weak and not fed.
One of the kid’s parents now dead because of the incident of what he heard because that is her only child and when she heard what happened, she fainted.

She was later taken to a hospital where she died yesterday evening” he said
Abubakar who sounded disappointed said the state government is yet to contact him since the abduction happened.
The government agencies have not intervened ever since he made the report to the government.
The SSG replied to the report through his wife and he promised to intervene and up till now as of this report, none of them has been here to sympathize with them.
