Former Big Brother Naija winner, Josephine Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has been invited by the Nigerian police over a dispute involving a rented wig.
The seller had alleged that Phyna failed to return the wig after the rental period expired.
While initially denying the claims, Phyna later admitted in a viral video that she had indeed rented the wig.
However, she maintained that she had returned it, only for the vendor to reject it.
According to Phyna, the vendor claimed the wig was damaged and refused to accept its return.
This, Phyna claims, made her keep the wig, believing the damage exceeded the original rental cost.
Adding to the complexity, Phyna revealed that the vendor visited her home accompanied by police officers and left a formal invitation letter from the Ogudu Police Station requesting her presence.
