The Lagos State Police Command has reacted to a viral video of a female officer screaming for help from a moving vehicle.
In the viral video, the unidentified policewoman could be seen struggling with the driver and begging for help to be rescued from the car.
It was learnt that the officer jumped into the car in an attempt to stop the driver.
“Help me, they are carrying me to where I don’t know,” she shouted as she dragged the steering wheel with the unidentified driver.

Reacting to the video, Lagos Police Spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin said that the driver’s behaviour was an act of felony.
“Irrespective, I repeat, irrespective of whatever the police officer must have done (un)professionally, kidnapping anyone, especially a law enforcement officer on duty, is a felony.
“This man is already a suspect. Investigation has commenced,” he wrote on Twitter.
