Popular TV talk show host, Jerry Springer is dead
Legendary television talk show host, Jerry Springer has died at 79.
His family made the announcement in a statement issued on Thursday.
“Jerry’s ability to connect with people was at the heart of his success in everything he tried whether that was politics, broadcasting or just joking with people on the street who wanted a photo or a word.
‘He’s irreplaceable and his loss hurts immensely, but memories of his intellect, heart and humor will live on,” the statement read in part.
Jerry Springer was an American broadcaster, journalist, actor, producer, former lawyer, and politician.

He served as the 56th Mayor of Cincinnati from 1977 to 1978. He was best known for hosting the tabloid talk show Jerry Springer between September 30, 1991, and July 26, 2018, and debuting the Jerry Springer Podcast in 2015.
From 2007 to 2008, Springer hosted America’s Got Talent, and from September 2019 until 2022, Springer hosted the courtroom show Judge Jerry.
