
The recent approval and the subsequent payment of this year’s SSEC WAEC examination for final-year students in Ondo state public secondary schools have attracted views from stakeholders
The Chairman of,Parents/ Teachers Association ( PTA)Adougbo Grammar School,Afin Akoko Mr Seedu Ikumuyite described the gesture from the governor as a replica of the late Chief Adekunle Ajasin and late sage Chief Obafemi Awolowo’s passion for education.
Ikumuyite noted that many indigent but brilliant students will become future leaders with this gesture.
The educationist called on student beneficiaries to be more serious in their academic pursuit.

In his own reaction a retired school principal from ogbagi Akoko mr Ade Olaoye said many students has become dropped out due to poverty when parents couldn’t afford to pay WAEC fees for their final examination.
Olaoye urged well to do and phillatropists to always join hands with government and other stakeholders to fund education.
A final year student, Joshua Agboola said government of Ondo state has done very well in paying the whooping amount of money on the educational advancement of students particularly the indigent ones who have lost hope in paying WAEC fees for their final examination.
The student described Governor Rotimi Akeredolu as a father and grand father who loves his children.
