An Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Jamiu Arikeuyo has observed that only fervent prayers can solve the myriads of problems presently facing the country.
Arikeuyo, who is the Chief Imam of Ogbagi-Akoko in Ondo state made the observation during a Jummah Ogbagi-Akoko.
The cleric highlighted the problems as Fuel scarcity, ASUU strike, Insecurity, and the Russian Ukraine invasion that affected Nigeria nationals in Nigeria’s Problemse.
Adamson noted that Nigerians are passing through hard times that call for fervent prayers.
He sympathized with the government on some unexpected challenges like COVID19 which nearly crippled the global economy, Nigeria inclusive.

The eminent scholar appealed to the government to urgently find a lasting solution to the ongoing fuel crisis.
According to him, people are buying fuel between N250 and N300, saying this is not acceptable because it would worsen the economy and lead to inflation.
In 2023 general elections, he warned contestants against empty promises, while politicians must shun thuggery and voters’ inducement
