Bendel Insurance football club have registered their displeasure over the attitude of the NNL officials and has tagged their work as bias ahead of their clash with Remo Stars Club of Remo.
In the club’s protest, Honorable Frank Ilaboya queried the NNL on why there should be a delay in the match and a change of Referees in the last few hours without any justification.

In his words, the veteran journalists echoed that they suspect foul play in the decision made by the NNL, citing inconsistency and that they do not have faith in the same referee who has been reappointed by the organizers.
As at the time of filing this report, the NNL officials, headed by Emmanuel Adesanya are in a closed-door meeting with the two clubs.
