PROUD BOYS— White Supremacist Group Trump asked to Stand By …….. WHO ARE THEY?

As US Presidential  Debate Council moves to draw up new rules to curtail rambunctious or turbulently unruly Trump on the 2nd debate coming up on October 8, who are the Proud Boys he arrogantly  directed to “ stand by” during his first encounter with Biden on  Tuesday?

“ Stand by” for what? In case he loses?

Proud Boys is classified as a hate group by civil rights organizations and with members with convictions for violent crimes.

It is a supremacist group and was pulled into the spotlight during the US presidential debate when Trump said:

“Proud Boys, stand back and stand by … Somebody has got to do something about the left,”

The remarks sparked social media storm of support from the right-wing group.

When the debate’s moderator, journalist Chris Wallace, asked Trump if he was willing to condemn “white supremacists and militia groups,” Trump answered: “Sure, I’m willing to do that, but I would say almost everything I see is from the left wing, not from the right “

Within minutes of Trump’s comment during the debate on Tuesday, members of the Proud Boys started posting in private and open social media channels, praising his remark as “historic” and an endorsement of the group’s violent tactics.

On the Proud Boys’ account on the messaging app Telegram, members of the group celebrated by writing things like “standing down and standing by Sir.” Some members also changed the group’s logo to include the words “stand back and stand by.”

The Group: The Proud Boys is a far-right neo-fascist , White Supremacist male-only organization that promotes and engages in political violence. It is based mainly in the United States and and founded by Gavin Maclness.

There are fears that with presidential support and recognition, the group is likely to unleash mayhem on America if Trump loses reelection.
