Candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi has floored his All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Ahmed Bola Tinubu in the 2023 Presidential election at the 049 polling unit of Ajeromi Ifelodun Local government of Lagos.

The LP candidate pulled 59 votes to beat Tinubu, who scored 31 votes, while the People Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Atiku Abubakar pulled four voters.

However, it was not an easy job for the sole police personel assigned to the unit to provide security for the voters, who on several occasions overwhelmed him.

Also for polling unit 042 at Adeponle Street Amukoko in Ajeromi-Ifelodun, the APC candidate scored 39 votes, the LP candidate pulled 32 votes, while the PDP candidate, Atiku could only gather 8 votes.
