Revenue generation: Okorocha urges patronage of indigenous tourism, hospitality sector

The Chief Executive Officer of Wingist Network, Mr Amamchi Okorocha, has called on Nigerians to patronise indigenous tourism and hospitality services to boost revenue generation for the Federal Government.

Okorocha made the call at an event to celebrate the anniversary of his business and philanthropic activities on Sunday in Abuja.

The son of the former governor of Imo, said he established the Wingist Network in January 2020, adding that he had been involved in diversifying and engaged in many philanthropic activities.

“Nigerians should try to always patronise indigenous tourism and hospitality industry. Going to other countries to patronise their tourism is to enrich them, why not spend it at home.

“This will go a long way to enhance revenue generation for the Federal Government and the benefits will trickle down to the masses in form of poverty alleviation and development projects.

“The Wingist Network cuts across luxury hospitality, lifestyle, entertainment, real estate, among others. These are my contributions to national development,’’ Okorocha said.

He said that Wingist was made up of forward-thinking youths that were ready to change the global perspective indefinitely.

The Wingist Chief Executive noted that the organisation’s priority was on integrity, family, accountability, teamwork and innovation.

Okorocha stressed that Wingist Network was also designed to provide an enabling environment for leadership and career growth, alongside personal development.

“Our vision is to create a multinational eco-system of luxury hospitality and entertainment, through continuous innovation and teamwork and to provide customers with the most luxurious and compelling hospitable and entertainment services.
