A former Senator representing Rivers Southeast, Magnus Abe, has said that politicians throwing their weight behind the state governor, Siminalayi Fubara, were doing so for selfish reasons.
Abe said this during the Rivers State stakeholders’ programme hosted by the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, in celebration of the New Year on Friday
He stated that those politicians have an agenda to bring down Wike, hence their frolicking with Governor Fubara.
He said “Nobody is with Governor Fubara because they love Rivers State or Governor Fubara.
“They are with him because they see him as a means to achieve their political goal — to bring down the FCT Minister.”
