Rohr,Yobo, Agu to receive seven months’ outstanding salaries 

As the Super Eagles prepare to face The Wild Beasts of Central African Republic (CAR) tomorrow in a 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifier at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has intensified effort to ensure that all the coaching crew led by Gernot Rohr receive at least seven out of their outstanding eight months salaries owed them by the football house.

Rohr has been working without pay for over eight months, but a source in the NFF revealed that the former Burkina Faso manager will be paid before the Super Eagles’ 2022 World Cup Qualifier against The Wild Beasts of Central African Republic (CAR).

According to the source, NFF’s partner Aiteo, who is responsible for paying the coaches, has agreed to pay seven months of the German tactician’s salary.

Likewise, the team’s goalkeeper coach Alloy Agu and assistant coach Joseph Yobo will also receive their salaries.

The team is currently preparing for the World Cup Qualifying doubleheader against CAR. The Super Eagles host Les Fauves at the Teslim Balogun on October 7 before traveling to Douala for the second leg three days later.

A win in both games will all but seal Nigeria’s place in the final playoff round.
