Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-olu has terminated the appointments of all political appointees in the state.
This was made known in a brief by the head of service to the governor, Muri Okunola on Wednesday, May 24th .
According to the brief, the termination of the services of the political appointees in the state will take effect from close of work on Friday May 26th.
It reads “Lagos state Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has directed that political appointees, especially Honourable commissioners, special advisers, (Cabinet and Non Cabinet), all assistants(Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, Personal Assistants, Technical Assistants, Personal Aides) be notified that of the end of term of their appointments, with effect from the close f workon Friday 26th, May 2023.”
