The Senate on Monday commenced the screening of the ministerial nominees of President Bola Tinubu.

The screening, which commenced at plenary at about 1:30pm, followed a motion moved by the Senate Leader, Senator Dave Ummah.

Recall that president Bola Tinubu on Friday forwarded a 28-man list of ministerial nominees to the Senate president, Godswill Akpabio.

Nominees screened so far are Abubakar Momoh, former governor of Rivers, Nyesom Wike and Prof Joseph Use
