Senator Orji Kalu, former Abia state Governor has opened up about his ambitions in 2023.
While visiting two former heads of state in Minna on Monday, Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (Rtd) and Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd), Kalu said that he would not hesitate to serve as president if given the chance.
“I am still in the Senate, and I will seek for re-election into the Senate, but if our people want me to serve as President I will not hesitate,” he said.
Speaking on the country’s security challenges, he said that there is sabotage in the security system but the National Assembly will collaborate with the executive to tackle this.
