Seun Kuti blasts Burna Boy, Davido, Wizkid for wearing diamond jewellery 

Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti, has knocked Nigerian artistes, Burna Boy, Wizkid and Davido over their diamond neck chains.

Seun, in a video on his Instagram handle, said the only way to show they are big is by using the neck chains, which he said were the blood of fellow Africans from Liberia and Sierra Leone.

Speaking in pidgin English, he said, “we self wan turn to African Americans, go put big beads for neck, like fools, the way your ancestors wear chains, as slave wey dem dey drag.

“Every diamond, there is the blood of your brother in Congo, the blood of your brother in Liberia, the blood of your brother in Sierra Leone.

“The Europeans have told you that, that’s the only thing you must wear to show that you’re a big man. We can’t tell the difference, everybody is copying.”
