Sex trafficking: “I will prove my innocence”, R.Kelly says after guilty verdict

RnB legend, Robert Kelly popularly known as R.Kelly has said that he would continue to fight for his freedom after he was found guilty of all charges against him

The singer said this in a Facebook post after he was pronounced guilty on all counts of sex trafficking and federal racketeering by a jury on September 27th.

Kelly, whose sentencing is due on May 4th, may spend the rest of his life in prison.

In the Facebook post, the singer maintained his innocence, adding that the verdict was “disappointing”.

“To all my fans and supporters I love you all and thank you for all the support. Today’s verdict was disappointing and I will continue to prove my innocence and fight for my freedom. #notguilty,” R.Kelly wrote.
