
Simon Ekpa, the self-appointed leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has issued threats over the arrest of Fredrick Nwajagu, the Eze Ndigbo of Ajao Estate, Lagos.
In a viral video posted online, Nwajagu had threatened to bring in members of IPOB to secure Igbo businesses in Lagos.
“We must have our security so that they will stop attacking us at midnight, in the morning and in the afternoon.
“When they discover that we have our security, they will think twice before attacking us. I am not saying a single word to be hidden,” he said.

Nwajagu has since been arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS).
Reacting to his arrest, Ekpa issued a threat via his Twitter handle, stating that Nwajagu must be released after three days.
He tweeted: “After three days, if this man is not released, you will see what Biafrans will do.”
