A soldier attached to the 32 Artillery Brigade Owena Barracks Akure, Ondo state has been arrested by the state police command for allegedly stabbing one Bunmi Omodele in Akure , the state capital.

At press time,there was no clue on why the Soldier took such action

The soldier identified as Tope Kazeem was alleged to have stabbed the victim severally at the back and other parts of the body with knife.

The victim who is now in a critical condition has been rushed to an undisclosed hospital.

The Soldier was said to have committed the crime with his friend, Azzez Ayomide.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami who confirmed the report said she would soon come up with details of the report.
