Soldiers deployed to Auchi ahead of governorship election

Auchi, the administrative headquarters of Etsako West has also gotten the deployment of soldiers for monitoring of tomorrow’s election in Edo State.

The soldiers along with police and other security personnel are expected to provide security before, during and after the election which according to INEC,  will  hold between 8:30 and 2:30pm.

The two major political parties, APC and PDP yesterday in line with electoral guidelines  round off all forms of political campaigns with roads show.

The major towns in Edo North, Auchi, Afuze, Igara  are devoid of political activities while the political leaders are holding strategic meetings with key members of the party.

The Edo North people are optimistic of peaceful election and favorable weather.
