
President Muhammadu Buhari has said that ‘State police for Nigeria is not an option’
The president made this known during an interview on Channels TV today.
Giving reasons why the states can not have their own police he said that the relationship between the state governors and local governments will not allow for it asking if the local government are getting what they are supposed to get constitutionally from the states.

He lamented the fighting many governs are having with their local government saying ”State police is not an option find out the relationship between local government and the Governors.
”Are the third tier of government getting what they are supposed to get constitutionally? Are they getting it? Let the people in local government tell you the truth, the fight between local governments and the Governor.”
