The appeal of Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU) against the rulling of the  National Industrial Court will be heard at the court of appeal sitting in Abuja on Tuesday , October 4th.

Recall that the national industrial court had ruled in the favour of the Federal Government and ordered ASUU back to class while negotiation between the two parties continues.

The union rejected the order and appealed the rulling of the industrial court at the appeal court.

However,negotiations and talks have continued between the house of representatives and ASUU.

According to reports, the house of representatives led by the speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila  will today meet with president Muhammadu Buhari on the lingering strike of the Union.
