The Federal Government has approved a N5bn palliative for the 36 states of the federation, including the Federal Capital Territory.
This move is to cushion the impact of the removal of the petrol subsidy.
The decision was announced at the end of a National Economic Council meeting, which was presided over by Vice President Kashim Shettima.
