Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo a.k.a Sunday Igboho has announced the suspension of the Yoruba Nation rally scheduled to hold on Saturday, July 3rd.
Igboho announced the suspension during an interview with BBC News pidgin on Thursday.
Igboho’s decision comes after an attack on his residence by gunmen during the early hours of Thursday morning.

Leader of Ilana Omo Oodua, Emeritus Professor Banji Akintoye, confirmed the incident in a statement issued by his Communications Manager, Maxwell Adeleye.
According to Akintoye, seven persons were killed in the attack by gunmen dressed in military camouflage.
Igboho’s wife was also abducted alongside an unknown number of people at the residence.
