Hon Fateema Mohammed Bags Woman Of The Year Award

 

Grassroots mobiliser and philanthropist par excellence, Hon Fateema Mohammed, on Friday, January 19, bagged the Woman Of The Year Award at the Ifako-Ijaiye 2023 Community Award organised by Ifako Ijaiye Youth Development Initiative.

The event, hosted at the Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Hall, was graced by stakeholders within and outside the local government.

The Hon, who was represented by Bukola Ogundaini, thanked the organisers of the award for appreciating her contributions to the development of the local government.

The award was in recognition of her strides in education, empowerment, women advocacy, health, amongst others.

Speaking while receiving the special recognition award, Hon Fateema Mohammed said,”I am truly honoured and humbled to receive the Woman Of The Year Award from the Ifako-Ijaiye 2023 Community Award. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Ifako Ijaiye Youth Development Initiative for recognising and appreciating my efforts in the development of Ifako-Ijaiye.

“This award is not just a personal achievement but a testament to the collective impact we can make when we come together for the betterment of our community.

“Education, empowerment, women advocacy, and health are crucial pillars in community development, and I am committed to continuing my efforts in these areas for the betterment of our people.

“This is also using this medium to tell our people to expect more from us in 2024. Thank you all.”
