He had recently met with some bandits in Niger who on Tuesday night kidnapped some school children and teachers at government Science College Kagara, Rafi LGA Niger State
He said the bandits during his meeting with them said “We have many factions and each faction is saying I have complaints and grievances – we are persecuted, we are arrested, we are lynched .”
According to PRNNigeria the bandits told Gumi that they were not happy that several of their cows have been bombarded, and some stolen by robbers. They alleged that their fellow herdsmen have been killed by some villagers.
They also informed Gumi know that vigilantee members in some communities always attack their Fulani relatives and family members, whenever they sight them going to markets and towns.
