His eldest son, Mr. Ukari Osu said his late father showed love and peace where ever he had found himself, noting that he dedicated his entire life to the service of God and the state, who believed in using education as a tool for development.

Before being appointed a judge, the late Osu had a stint in politics, a vocation that some of his children, Mrs. Zakien Osu Christopher, and others had since taken to.
Mrs. Osu Christopher, wife of a Bayelsa-based publisher of Niger Delta New Link described her late father as a giver, helper to humanity as his generosity to fellow men was unimaginable.
“You deprived yourself of good things in life just help to humanity. You believed that living a luxurious life was a waste of money when that money could be used to help the needy around you. You lived a modest life. It is hard to believe that you are gone,” she said.”
